Please note: when replacing the battery of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4
With the Surface Pro 4, there are often problems with the battery life decreasing and the device therefore going out within a few hours and/or the battery inflating.
It is not possible to determine in advance whether the battery or the motherboard is affected. Therefore, if the main circuit board is disconnected from the battery contact and there is a defect in the battery module (main circuit board), there is a 1% risk that the device will no longer receive sufficient power with the old and new battery and will not start.
If the fault occurs on the main circuit board, we will have to return the device to you without function, as the repair price of a new circuit board exceeds the value of the device. For this reason, we recommend that you back up your data before returning the device.
If, as in 99% of cases, the device works with the new battery, you will receive the repaired device back with the invoice for the repair.
