1. what is it about?
This privacy policy provides information on how we process personal data when you visit our websites and online stores, use our services (e.g. bookings, support, newsletters), shop with us or communicate with us. This declaration meets the requirements of the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and - where applicable - the EU GDPR.
2 What data do we process?
2.1 Content and communication data: master data (surname, first name, company, billing/delivery address, telephone number, e-mail), contract data (orders, bookings, payments, warranty/service cases, support tickets, correspondence), newsletter/marketing data (consents, openings/clicks - only with your consent or on the basis of legitimate interest).
2.2 Usage and device data (online): IP address (shortened where possible), date/time, referrer, pages accessed, session IDs, browser/OS, end device type; cookies and similar technologies for function, statistics and marketing.
2.3 Payment data: Payment method, transaction ID, masked card details; processing is carried out by payment service providers as separate controllers.
2.4 Event/form data: Information from contact, support and event/booking forms (incl. free text).

Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
4. categories of recipients
Service providers (hosting, IT, security, tracking, email/newsletter, CRM/HubSpot, payment/courier/logistics), payment service providers (own controllers), advertising/analytics partners (e.g. Google, LinkedIn), authorities (where mandatory) and business partners/resellers/franchise partners (where necessary for the provision of services).
5. data transmission abroad
Some providers process data outside Switzerland/EU (e.g. USA). We ensure an adequate level of data protection - through adequacy decisions, EU standard contractual clauses (SCCs) including the Swiss Addendum, Binding Corporate Rules, Transfer Impact Assessments and additional protective measures. A lower level of protection may exist in certain countries.

7. cookies & similar technologies
7.1 What are cookies? Small text files in the browser; necessary, statistics, marketing and comparable technologies (e.g. fingerprinting).
7.2 Purposes: functionality/security (e.g. shopping cart, language), statistics/performance, marketing/personalization.
7.3 Control: Via cookie banner or browser settings. If deactivated, functions may be restricted.
8. storage duration
Personal data is stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose or as required by law. Standard values: contract/customer data 10 years (retention period in Switzerland), support/communication 2 years, marketing data until revocation or 2 years after last interaction, cookies depending on provider (session to several years).

10. safety
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures (e.g. encryption, access controls, monitoring) to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access.
11. plugins & embeddings
YouTube: Data transmission only during playback; if logged in, assignment to profile possible.
LinkedIn: Connection with LinkedIn servers; interactions can be assigned to profiles.
Google reCAPTCHA: Analyzes interactions (IP, mouse movements, dwell time) for bot detection in the background.
12. children & teenagers
Our offers are not aimed specifically at children. Please contact us if you assume that we are processing the data of minors without the required consent.
13. amendments to this declaration
We may amend this privacy policy (e.g. in the event of new tools or legal changes). The current version on our website applies. We will communicate any major changes appropriately.
